Apple Bread Pudding recipe

What could be better that bread pudding that is actually good for you too? What a perfect idea! I love this one and I love feeding it to my family.

Ingredients:                                           Healthy Apple Bread Pudding

8 to 9 Pieces of Your Favorite Bread
4 Tablespoons Butter
3 Apples
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

1 Tablespoons Lemon Rind (grated)
¼ To ½ Cup Honey
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Cup Apple Juice
½ Golden Raisins
½ Cup Walnuts

Directions:

1.Before toasting both sides of the bread under the broiler spread them with butter.
2.Cut them up into chunks.
3.Put the apples, lemon juice, lemon rind, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, apple juice and raisins in the crock pot.
4.Do not put the walnuts in yet.
5.Taste the apples and see how tart they are. The amount of honey you put in should be determined by this.
6.Set the crock pot on low and allow to cook for 5 to 6 hours.
7.If you can stir halfway through cooking process.
8.Stir in the walnuts just before serving.
