Maple Vanilla Bread Pudding recipe

4 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup maple syrup
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 large loaf Brioche bread, cut into ½ -inch pieces
Vanilla or praline ice cream, for serving


1.Preheat oven to 375F. Generously grease a 13-by-9-inch baking dish.

2.Whisk eggs, cream, maple syrup, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Add Brioche; stir well to coat completely. Let stand 30 minutes.

3.Bake until thickened and golden, about 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; slice and serve warm with ice cream.
